What to Expect

If you are joining Hope Family Church for the first time, we want you to feel welcome and at ease. Here is what a typical Sunday morning looks like.

When and Where

We meet every Sunday at 10 a.m. at Symmes Elementary School, 6280 Watson Road, Riverview, FL 33578. Look for the flags at the entrance to the parking lot. There is plenty of parking available.

Worship and Teaching

Our gatherings are simple. We sing together, pray together, and hear God’s Word preached. Our teaching is expository, meaning we preach through books of the Bible verse by verse. The service typically lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Kids

Children are welcome and cared for during the service. We have a nursery for ages 0-5 (Hope Sprouts) and a program for K-5th grade (Hope Builders). Kids join us for singing and a short children’s message before being dismissed to their own age-appropriate teaching. Children are also welcome to stay in the main service with their families. We are a family church. All of our children’s workers have been background-checked through MinistrySafe.

After the Service

We stick around for coffee and conversation after the service. This is one of the best parts of our Sunday morning. We would love to meet you and answer any questions you have.

What to Wear

Come as you are. Some people dress up, some come in jeans and a t-shirt. There is no dress code.

A Note for Guests

Whether you have followed Christ for many years or are simply curious about Christianity, you are welcome here. We are not a perfect church, but we are a family that loves Jesus and loves one another. We would be glad to have you join us.
