Mission Statement
We exist to pursue expanding joy in God for all people through Jesus Christ.
Why joy in God?
Because God is our “exceeding Joy”. In every season of life, He is the “Joy of our happiness”! (Psalm 43:4).
Why expanding joy?
Because God is infinite and therefore our joy in Him can always expand!
How does our joy in God expand?
a) Through one another
We are a family with many flaws! Yet we find joy in one another:
As for the saints who are in the earth,
They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight.
(Psalm 16:3)
b) Through bringing others into His kingdom
Jesus is continually bringing His kingdom, His rule and reign, to bear in this world.
Soon, His kingdom will come in its fulness.
In the meantime, Jesus works through His people to bring His kingdom to bear on the lives of those around us (Matthew 10:7; Matthew 28:18-20). As we live lives on mission, telling others about the goodness of Jesus, our joy in God can only expand (Acts 13:52)!
“I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” (Luke 15:7)
Heaven’s joy becomes our joy!
c) Through sending each other out for the kingdom
We want to train and send one another out on mission!
Whether that’s into our workplaces, our neighborhoods, or other countries!
Jesus is saving a people from every nation, tribe and tongue. Where and when he sends us, we want to go!
